Internet Marketing Coaching - Learning The Online Business Blueprint At A Bootcamp
I realized I needed an internet marketing coaching after struggling to put the pieces I gathered on the net together. Those bits and pieces of information from eBooks I picked up during my self study phase needed to be glued together. In short, I needed a mentor to guide me in my online business journey. The couple of months spent on self study opened my eyes to the true potential of an online business. To further add value to my learning phase, I attended a 3 days Internet Marketing Bootcamp. It was during the boot camp I get to put all the internet marketing data I had into perspective. I am introduced to the action plan and blueprint of a successful internet marketer
1. Market research
This is probably the most crucial stage of the blueprint.
- Identify niche market. The more focused the niche the better.
- Determine the size of the target niche market. How big is the demand?
- How fierce is the competition in the targeted niche? Who are they?
2. Website creation
There are many types of websites and tools which can be used in internet marketing. The key here is to understand how each functions and identify which of them you are more comfortable with. Among the many types of websites:
- Blogs
- Minisites
- eCommerce
Blogs and minisites are the two that is largely used by internet marketers. The two are used to provide information related to the targeted niche. The common tools in use to create web pages today are:
When starting up, you’d probably need to get your hands on some web templates.
3. Website traffic generation
Putting up a website is probably among the easiest part of the online business journey. Once you have the website up and running, you will then need to bring traffic to it. Similar to an offline business, your online business will not be making any sale if no one knows about it or comes looking. There are many ways to bring traffic to your website. Work on them and you will get traffic which you can then convert into sales.
There are a few more traffic generation methods. However, the above is sufficient to get you tons of traffic for starters.
4. Website monetization
Besides making sales of your own product on the website, you could also monetize it with other methods. Among the available web monetizing methods are:
- Google Adsense - This is probably the most famous of the lot. Learn about Google Profits, and you can add more income from your website.
- Ad slots - If you have a website that gets a large number of visitors, you could sell advertising slots on it.
- Affiliate marketing - You don’t really need your own product to sell online. Be an affiliate marketer and sell other people’s products instead.
5. Tracking and monitoring
In the world of Online Business, you need to monitor and track the performance of your internet business sites. The reason for tracking and monitoring is simple. You monitor and track to understand how your visitors are reacting to your web pages. You track where your visitors are coming from. You track which pages are converting into sales. There are various web statistic providers out there.

6. Automation
Once your website is up and running, you should then focus on automating your work. Among the tools to use in automating your online business are:
Once you’ve got your automation configured, you can then think about focusing on another niche market. Basically repeat all that you’ve done in your first niche all over again.
Truly, if I had not attended the Bootcamp, I would not have any clue to all the things mentioned above. Without the guidance of a mentor, I would probably still be groping with all the information above. The 3 days mentoring has enabled me to put all the information into their respective place in the blueprint.
